It Came From The Swamp

Actually, it came from a lake. A nice lake too. I was just drawn to the finger-lilke lines of the tree branch as it reached out of the lake and dipped its fingers back into the water.
Winter Finds Catalpa

The last two days have seen almost three inches of snow where I live. It’s always fun to experience the full spectrum of seasonal events throughout a year. Snow is the one that brings about the fondest memories. Just as long as it doesn’t continue for too long. I don’t need to remember that much!
Endothermic Vertibrates
I came across this old sketch that I did a while back. I have no idea why I drew it or what was on my mind at the time. This is another example of a free-sketch that I probably used to get over creative block. I thought I would post it here for fun, just one endothermic vertibrate to another.
Photo Challenge Day 12 – Shadow of a Tree
For today’s photo I went outside at night and hunted out shadows made by the streetlight on my corner. I’m sure my neighbors thought I was insane for standing outside on my lawn with a tripod and camera in the dark. But what do they know? I liked this image because it looks like some sort of tree monster stalking someone.
